About Stragmatic
Stragmatic is a consulting firm specializing in supply chain management, founded on the conviction that it's time to do things differently for Québec's manufacturing SMEs. We help our clients modernize their processes, carry out their digital transformation and optimize their operations. Our mission: make companies more agile, more efficient and better equipped to plan their operations.
We firmly believe planning is one of the most powerful performance levers there is. That's why we chose to focus our expertise on implementing advanced planning solutions (APS – Advanced Planning & Scheduling) — we're also a Gold Partner and an official distributor of Ortems (Dassault Systèmes) in Québec.
We also build our own tools, including Segmentic, our SaaS solution for continuous inventory optimization for Québec manufacturers.
The role
As a supply chain and digital transformation consultant, you'll be at the heart of projects that transform how our clients plan: APS implementations, ERP selection and configuration, and digital transformation initiatives. You'll play a strategic role at the intersection of business processes, technology (planning, ERP, data) and operations teams.
You'll support our clients through every stage of a project — from needs analysis all the way to go-live — with a constant focus on delivering concrete value.
Key responsibilities
- Understand the business challenges and operational processes involved in planning (production, procurement, capacity, etc.)
- Carry out functional analyses and model planning rules
- Configure APS and ERP solutions, including MRP setup
- Extract, structure and analyze data to support planning decisions
- Act as the link between IT teams, users and solution vendors
- Take part in user training and change management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our methodologies, including by bringing in artificial intelligence tools
- Act as a trusted partner to our clients, mainly in industrial or manufacturing settings
What we're looking for
We're looking for a hybrid profile: a solid foundation in supply chain management, combined with real technical fluency.
- Relevant experience implementing an ERP, a WMS or an APS system
- University degree in operations management, logistics, engineering, information technology or a related field
- Hands-on experience as a business analyst, planner or supply chain professional
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and planning challenges
- Comfortable managing and structuring data (relational databases, advanced Excel)
- Understanding of MRP logic (bills of materials, routings, replenishment rules)
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence tools applied to planning and automation
- SQL programming experience (an asset)
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and bring different kinds of stakeholders on board
- Analytical mindset, independence and rigor
- Excellent communication skills in French (written and spoken); working knowledge of English (an asset)
Why join Stragmatic?
- To be part of a close-knit firm that values impact, transparency and shared growth
- To contribute to stimulating projects that genuinely change the way manufacturing SMEs work
- To grow in a firm that also builds its own products, like Segmentic, our inventory optimization solution
- To learn, innovate and grow in a fast-expanding environment
- Curious and ready to dive full speed into modern technologies like AI, agentic workflows, simulation, digital twins and automation from 3D drawings? Then there's a place for you with us!
